Our Staff

The Nominating Committee is made up of a representation of active members of the church and includes at least two Elders designated by the Session and one member of the Board of Deacons. The remaining members of the committee are chosen from the membership. The pastor is a member of this committee serving ex-officio and without a vote. This committee is chosen annually.

Nominating Committee—Class of 2009

The Nominating Committee for next year’s slate of church officers has begun its work and would like input from the congregation. We are interested in finding those individuals who are involved in the life of LPC, who have exemplified commitment to Christian living, and who feel ready to accept the call to serve as Elders, Deacons or Trustees. The spiritual needs of our congregation, as well as the practical aspects of running the church, call for many and varied talents. We are certain that there are those among us who will serve faithfully and effectively.

We are asking for help from the congregation by inviting you to forward to the committee the name of any individual(s) that you believe should be considered. All suggestions will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
