This non-profit is a food collection and distribution center.
Clients with emergency food needs may access this service twice a
month if necessary. Interfaith was organized in approximately
1986 as a consolidation of several church food closets including the
one at Leesburg Presbyterian. Several members of this
congregation were involved in the original group that founded the
organization.
Volunteers are needed to stock shelves, fill orders, procure
food, greet clients, keep records, etc. Food donations are
collected at various times during the year. Watch for the
large carton in the sanctuary or in the hallway and bring a food
item. Food can be donated directly to Interfaith at any time.
